Louise Lowe - Sales Director

After graduating from our industry’s institution, Birmingham College of Food (University College Birmingham as it is known today) in 1990, I immediately joined Copthorne Hotels as a Graduate Trainee Manager and spent time in each department from Sales to Maintenance (mopping the boiler house was a particular high!).

After a year, I was let loose as Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager at Copthorne London Gatwick. Then after 5 years in operations, a move to the north and with a passion for sales, I joined The Old Swan in Harrogate and never looked back.

For the following 7 years I was hot on the career trail, circumnavigating the UK and after a move to a TMC & event agency based in Edinburgh, I landed back in the Midlands in 2002 as a Regional Sales Manager with Hilton. I joined Conference Care in 2005 as Head of Sales, where I continue to lead the sales team and drive revenues forward, ensuring the customer is at heart of all that we do. Testament to this is our fantastic portfolio of customers, some of whom have been with us from day one in 1995.

After significant growth in revenue and team members, I was appointed Sales Director in 2010, to strategically steer the business with Chris and Andrew, and lead my brilliant team of sales and marketing professionals.

I’m married to Chris (who serves in the Royal Navy) and very proud Mum to our daughter Isobel – with a passion for all things Strictly Come Dancing and 1D!
