The story of Conference Care...

    The Dream

    Two handsome (!) young men in the hospitality industry have a dream to launch a uniquely specialist venue finding and events agency. They start saving some start up-money and highlighter pens!

    Conference Care UK Opens Its Doors

    Conference Care (back then we were Conference Care UK) opens the doors for business – founders Andrew & Chris keep themselves busy with 40 hours extra bar work a week…

  • 1998
    It's Not Just The Two Of Us Anymore

    Now with an extra two members of staff, we join the HBAA – our industries leading trade organisation

  • 2000
    Choppa Has Landed

    Leanne Land (aka Choppa) joins the company – well worth mentioning as she’s now our longest serving team member and still loves her work, her clients and the events industry

    Event Management Goes Big

    We move into live events with our first event management contract for AGR (now ISE and still a client)

  • 2003
    The First Venue Finding Contract

    Our first contracted venue finding customer LSDA signs on the dotted line

  • 2005
    Scotland Gets To Know Conference Care

    We expand our services into Scotland with Pauline Beattie leading the way, and several new major customers in Edinburgh

    Conference Care Goes Green

    Conference Care wins the HBAA award for Promoting Excellence in the Events Industry, and we achieve Carbon Neutral status

  • 2012
    Big Bucks For The RNLI

    Having been a HBAA Board Member for two years, Chris is made Chairman of the association for 2012, starting several initiatives and also raising a record £50,000 for the RNLI. Lots of us take part in the RNLI Sea Survival course!

    Conference Care Win Silver At M&IT

    We win the Silver M&IT award for best Intermediary Agent. This has driven us on to win the Gold award for the next five years in a row!

  • 2015
    400 Miles On A Bike!

    Pauline, Chris, Andrew and Sean all take on the 400-mile cycling challenge, from our Scottish office to Coventry office, raising over £10,000 for our charities Help4Harry and Muscular Dystrophy

    Time To Get Some More Space

    We move to our new Headquarters in Hinckley, Leicestershire – it’s great to have room to move for a change!
