When you’ve worked with a client for 17 years, and each year the brief is to deliver a full event management project, but one that is full of fresh new ideas, exciting concepts and improves on the previous year – it’s not hard to identify the challenge. The ISE Conference is a flagship event for early talent professionals to come together to discuss and explore student recruitment.
The complexity that goes hand in hand with full event management logistics, accommodation control, delegate registration, all pre-event liaison and onsite delivery as well as post event analysis is the kind of test that we love.
With almost 600 people, across three days with a main plenary session, 10 breakout rooms, a gala dinner, an informal dinner, live entertainment and an awards ceremony – this is by far one of our favourite event management clients.
Whether a client has been with us for 17 years or 17 days, our approach is always the same. We will work with you to deliver a bespoke and individual event to hit your objectives.
For this client we designed and developed a personal delegate registration website, to contain all the information of the event and allow delegates to book and manage all of their accommodation as well all online.
With any event management the devil is almost certainly in the detail and we had seven on site Event Managers to be there at every turn across the three days. To liaise with the venue and to be looking ahead the whole time.
Last year we made significant developments by introducing technology to the event with the use of an Ipad registration and an event App, allowing the client to demonstrate to the audience that they are forward thinking as well as proving efficiencies and increased engagement with the delegates, both during and after the event.
The key to success with any event is to listen to the brief, we ensure that with all we have regular meetings face to face, but also it is essential to have a full debrief to capture any feedback to make the next one bigger and better.
